We have always looked ahead for you. Each stage of our history tells of milestones that have not only shaped our development, but also that of our industry.
To this day, our pioneering spirit drives us forward and we develop great solutions based on particle foam as well as profitable additions to our service portfolio.
2026
With the RUCH MORAPLAST brand relaunch, the Czech location is now also visually integrated into the RUCH Group’s brand architecture. The newly established RUCH DENOPLAST site in Nortrup marks another addition to the RUCH Group.
2025
We commission our first fully automated, fully digitalised and self-sufficient production line for series production.
The fifth generation of the shareholder family joins the company.
2024
We continue to significantly expand our range of fastening solutions, with more than 50 variants now available.
2023
Brand relaunch: With a new corporate design and a sharpened brand identity, RUCH NOVAPLAST combines its tradition with a clear focus on the future.
2022
Our Product Carbon Footprint Calculator enables us to determine the carbon footprint of our products.
2020
RUCH NOVAPLAST changes its legal form to a GmbH.
2019
Our development activities in the field of thermal joining of particle foam moulded parts (NOVAweld®) gain momentum, with the technology entering series production in numerous projects.
2018
We implement Europe’s first and, to date, largest foam moulding machine.
2017
From now on, we are also certified according to DIN EN ISO 50001 (energy).
2014
The development of our innovations continues: We specify our patented fastening system NOVAfeed&fix®.
2012
We also receive DIN ISO 14001 certification (environment).
2006
Roland Zeifang joins the management team.

Shortly after the turn of the millennium, we found MORAPLAST in the Czech Republic.

Three years later, we receive DIN ISO 9001 (quality) certification.
1994
This year marks the birth of NOVAplex®.
1988
In this year, we start manufacturing molded parts made of expanded polypropylene (EPP) – as one of the pioneers.
1960
A few years later, Heinrich Ruch lays the foundation stone for today’s RUCH NOVAPLAST plastics plant. This marks the start of the industrial production of molded parts made of expanded polystyrene (EPS).
1879
Our company is founded in Switzerland as a mechanical workshop for wire pins and for the manufacture of the necessary machines. Two years later, we moved to Oberkirch and expanded our manufacturing program to include water turbines and saw frames.
