Tube fan with new housing

Especially in these times, it is undisputed that good indoor air quality is essential for health and well-being. Our customer was looking for a way to make its tube fans more sustainable and energy-efficient. The solution: a housing made of expanded polypropylene (EPP). Two half shells made of EPP enclose all the components of the tube fan. RUCH NOVAPLAST came up with the following three convincing reasons for using EPP: NOVAplex® chassis.

The NOVAplex® chassis is individually aligned with the individual components of the tube fan. Assembly is extremely simple: the nine individual parts are plugged together without tools. Sound insulation is integrated on the pressure side of the housing. This combination enables low-noise operation.

Low weight
The weight of the tube fan has been reduced by up to 35 percent compared to its predecessor thanks to the EPP housing. This also has an impact on the CO2 balance: With a loaded 40-ton truck, this saves 83 grams of CO2 per 100 kilometers per device.

Recycling
Consumers’ purchasing decisions are increasingly influenced by sustainability issues. EPP is fully recyclable and can be reintroduced into the raw material cycle as a recycled material.
