Ventilation units are complex systems. Housing solutions from RUCH NOVAPLAST inside them ensure clarity and structure. In a project with the French market leader for ventilation systems, there were many other requirements as well, which challenged the extensive know-how of RUCH NOVAPLAST.
The particular challenges of this project were due to the extensive internal life of the housing together with high requirements in terms of seal and isolation capability.
A seat carriage is a piece of sports equipment that allows people with a disability do sports such as cross-country skiing and biathlon. The sports equipment comprises a carriage frame, side supports, the seat and seating foam. In a development project, Rosswag Engineering, Team Snowstorm and RUCH NOVAPLAST produced a carriage individually for a junior athlete. In order to be internationally competitive, the aim was to achieve weight optimisation for the entire assembly of less than 3 kilograms.
Because of the current situation, some of the RUCH NOVAPLAST customers' needs are changing. Some product areas are currently less in demand, while production is running at full speed in other areas. This makes production planning very tricky and requires a lot of flexibility. New raw material is delivered twice a day and is pumped into large silos. Each silo is connected to the material station via a central distribution centre. 35 lines converge here and are retraceably distributed to the machines via coupling tables on 54 supply lines. A total of 10 km of pipes were laid for this. This is how the EPP and EPS beads get directly to where they are needed: the foaming machines.
