3D measuring arm technology
Using the latest measuring arm technology, components can be checked for deviations in a way that would not be possible using conventional measuring technology. A scanning process is used to scan, measure and directly compare the moulded parts with the TARGET specifications. The accuracy is <0.5 mm.
This measuring technology makes it possible to meet even the most demanding measurement requirements with a very high degree of accuracy, based on the optically collected data. Even the most minor deviations can be determined in real time in the so-called colour comparison.
In the same way, foaming tools can also be scanned or examined to enable an assessment in direct comparison with the CAD data.
Batch tracing makes it possible to trace where the components of a product come from and which route they have taken in the supply chain.
This enables each product to be traced back to the producer, to ingredients or to special process and product features.
Dynamic component testing
For dynamic component testing, random samples are usually taken from production. The exact type of test conducted depends on the component to be tested.
In the field of body protection and protectors, a destruction test is usually performed to simulate and check the behaviour if the worst comes to the worst.
In the case of transport locks, a drop test may already be sufficient to assess the consequences.
Fully automatic leak test stand for EPP assemblies
If EPP casing assemblies are used in equipment carrying water, leak-tightness is an essential requirement. In order to ensure the sealing qualities, RUCH NOVAPLAST has designed a fully automated leak test stand. Here, the EPP casing assemblies undergo a stringent test, and leaks are detected with an accuracy of 100 percent.
The results-related printing of quality labels occurs automatically in the test cell. The QR code is affixed to the module and contains all product, production and quality-related data. All production steps – from the raw materials through to leak testing – can be traced, offering maximum transparency and safety.
The complete test process is linked to ERP/MES and CAQ systems. All data is consistently recorded and documented.
