Carriers - light and robust |
 |
Carriers are special packagings made of EPP. One important characteristic of this black material is the high elasticity of the individual “granules”. Unlike EPS, which fully absorbs pressure by the formation of cracks in the fused particles, but may sometimes crumble, EPP has an excellent capacity for "bouncing back", so that after being dropped several times it can always regain its original shape. This makes it suitable for the production of highly elastic, robust, re-usable transport containers. These carriers circulate in a reutilisation system and fit snugly and precisely around finished trim strips, lighting units or electronic components, for instance. Their low weight and impact-absorbing properties simplify handling, and their high reutilisation rate makes them economically advantageous, while reducing the load on the environment. Why make things complicated ? – Everything can be so simple! - shock-proof, tailor-made transport for fragile components
- damage-free transport for visual surfaces
- optimum stability for complex or delicate subassemblies
- easy-to-handle filling and emptying
- can be mechanically filled (robot tray)
- continuous use for many years
- low investment – high benefit
- proven usefulness in the automotive and electronics industries
