insulation for heating systems
material with premium insulating properties

Moulded parts for insulation made of particle foam allow limitless design possibilities. They are unique due to their high durability, sturdiness and low weight. With their air-filled pearls and great seam impermeability, great isolation and insulation values can be achieved.
combination of function and design
- Custom mounting and fixing of complex and filigree components
- Optimal connection, completely without screwing
- Suited for damp environments
- Very low water absorption, due to a closed cell structure and hydrophobic surface properties
- Resistant to most chemicals, oils and greases
- Long-term elasticity – high level of resilience
- Materials of low inflamability available
- High degree of static and dynamic strength properties

The complete insulation system consists of four easy-to-install half shells and a lid. Great seam impermeability is ensured by the elasticity of the foam. Along with the excellent heat insulation, longevity and the design are the distinguishing factors of these innovative solutions. The 130 millimeter thick EPP sheath ensures that tempered water remains hot. The thermal conductivity measured by the Fraunhofer Insititue for solar energy systems, is 0.0374 W/(m*K) for EPP, for a mean temperature of 40°C (e.g. water 60°C, air 20°C). Thus, the EPP insulation loses 25% less heat in comparison to PU soft foam of the same thickness and 0.0501 W/(m*K). The optimised design of the moulded EPP part increases this advantage even further.
