Particle foams are used in many areas. The production of energy absorbent moulded parts for the automotive industry is one of the key areas. Here, we produce impact absorbers, tool boxes, crash pads, seat elements, head rests, trunk inlays, air channels and much more.

The excellent resilience and energy absorbent properties of particle foams, as well as their low weight and sturdiness make the material interesting for the wide application range in the automotive industry.

Moulded parts made of EPP are not only used in the exterior, but also more and more in the interior area. They particularly stand out in respect to weight reduction and the increasingly important topics of environmental friendliness and lowering of energy consumption, since EPP is light and 100% recyclable. Another advantage of the material is that it meets the requirements of pedestrian safety and crash management.
New surface finishing methods also make the use in the visual range possible.

Properties that clearly speak for EPP:
High degree of heat insulation, high temperature resistance, great abrasion resistance and chemical resistance. A special argument - also for RUCH NOVAPLAST’s environmental understanding – is its perfect raw materials cycle: Everything can be re-used with a minimal consumption of resources.
